Does anyone care anymore whether people believe in Jesus? The family of St. John Lutheran Church does! The goal of the board of Evangelism is to win souls for God's kingdom in response to His command to go into the world to preach the Gospel to all nations. We encourage all members of the congregation to talk about their faith and their church, and to share with others the gift of the Good News of Jesus.
We also reach out with word about the St. John Lutheran Church family to visitors and newcomers to Saginaw. We introduce Sunday visitors to others in the congregation and we help new members to become a part of the church family. We keep in touch with church members through calls and visits and through notes of encouragement to those that are hospitalized or bereaved and to the parents of newborns.
