| We are the High School Youth Group of St. John Lutheran Church. Currently we have 9 members from several different High Schools in the area; Heritage, Reese, Bay City Central & Chesaning. Our director IS Beth Pike from Saginaw. Beth joined St. John several years back. |

| We meet every 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month. The 1st Sunday we meet after the 9:30 service for business needs and activities. The 3rd Sunday we do fund-raising at the Church and then meet at 4pm for Dinner & Movie night. |
| For the last 2 years we have attended The Lansing Gathering during our Christmas Break and have a blast! Last year we went to MN for a Mission Trip. This year we attended the National Gathering in Texas. |
| We hold several different fundraisers throughout the year from sub sales, service auctions, bake sales, souper-bowl Sunday & Lock-in Rock-in. |

When the Luther League went to The Gathering in Lansing in December 2005, we were so touched by the stories of people who have sponsored a child through Compassion, releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. We have sponsored Johnson Pierre, from Haiti, born December 12th, 1998. We contribute money each month that will go towards food, education and other needs. We also write Johnson monthly letters that will be translated to his language and he will write us back. If you would like to help us in supporting Johnson, we would be ever so grateful.
